Villafranca is a graceful town encircled by ancient walls and situated in an excellent position between Lake Garda and the cities of Mantova and Verona. It is near the airport Valerio Catullo and Custoza, a hilly town famous for its vineyards and the battles of the wars of independence. It is advised the visit to the wonderful botanical garden Sigurtà in Valeggio and the romantic medieval village called Borghetto which was built on the river-shore: here you can relax and travel back in time. |
