Trapani's inland is a vast hilly territory which is rich in orange groves, vineyards, and olive trees thanks to the climate that is mild in every season. At Segesta there is a spectacular and very well preserved Greek temple that rises on top of a hill. At the easternmost edge of the hill you will find, in a suggestive panoramic position, a theatre dating back to the fourth century A.D. which is still used to represent classical plays. |
