Soave is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved cities enclosed by high ancient walls in Italy. An old castle ovelooks the town. In this hilly area people cultivate the excellent vineyards which boast a reward for the production of the best white Italian wine in the year 2000: the Soave Classico DOC. In Summer, people organize many characteristic festivals where the superb white wine Soave is always the special guest. South from Verona, the Soave area presents its most interesting feature: the thermal complex of Caldiero, also called Terme di Giunone (Juno Baths). |
