This vast coastal area is called Costa Verde. On the south side there is the splendid beach of Sant'Acquadroxius-Pischeredda, near the dunes of Scivu. More famous are the dunes of Piscinas, reached from the Arbus-Fluminimaggiore road, passing Ingurtosu, an abandoned mining town, where thousands of miners once lived and worked. Those are places not to be missed, both for their mining buldings and for the expanses of dunes, the biggest in Italy. |
