This hill area boasts many interesting attractions. Vinci was the birthplace of Leonardo and hosts the prestigious Leonardiana Library. The 16th century turreted Medici villa in Montelupo Fiorentino is also noteworthy. Montelupo is famous for the glass and pottery craftwork. Finally, from Ponte a Signa one can contunue to Signa, where there are very beautiful frescoes conserved in two different churches. |
