The Prenestina area - lepini Mountains, is a stretch of land which runs dividing the province of Frosinone from the province of Latina. The most relevant aspects of this area are: on one side the historical-monumental, because of the numerous remains, as that of the Volsci's, both Roman and medieval; and, on the other side, the naturalistic one. And still we should mention the gastronomic and folkloristic attractions. You should not miss a visit to Carpineto Romano, with its clearly medieval style. It rises on a rocky hill on which its houses literally seem to be climbing up. |
