Altopiano della Paganella is the name of the tourist district lying in the mid-western part of Trentino which gravitates around Paganella mountain and the Brenta Dolomites. The particular conformation of the tableland makes it an ideal place for mountain biking and for practising sports like parapenting and hang-gliding. Andalo, Molveno, and Fai are the most important winter resorts. Lake Molveno gives holiday makers additional opportunities for recreation in summer. As a matter of fact, a free beach with facilities has been made on the shores of the lake. |
