This area in the province of Nuoro is also called Baronia. It is an agricultural region, prevalently hilly. The territory includes both coastal plains with long and very beautiful beaches and some mountains of great natural importance, such as the limestone Monte Albo. San Teodoro is a pleasing small town built on a plain. It has 18 beaches, all accessible by car or on foot, easy and short paths. Budoni is another important seaside resort. The territory is rich in gastronomic and genuine specialties. |
