The Regional Park of Sirente-Velino is situated among Abruzzo's mountains. Here visitors may practice sports like trekking, mountain-biking, horse riding, and mountain climbing. Moreover, many different species of fauna (wolves and deers) and flora still survive in this park. Here there are also several km of ski pistes and cross-country tracks. The most famous winter resorts are Rocca di Cambio, Mezzo, Rovere and Ovindoli. |
