Sant'Antioco is a splendid small town built on the slopes of a low hill on the eastern coast of the island bearing the same name. A tour around the island allows one to discover various corners worth visiting, from Cala Lunga to the Cannai tower, as far as the tourist resort of Maladroxia, overlooked by the nuraghe Sant'Ega de Marteddu. Here, you must taste the Sardus Pater, an excellent wine produced in this area. A few minutes by road separate Sant'Antioco from Calasetta, the second municipality on the island. From the port one can embark for Carloforte, stretch three beautiful beaches: Sottotorre, Saline beach and Grande beach. |
