A fairy-tale landscape of woods and rocks which changes hue with the passage of the seasons, swift torrents and waterfalls: this is the natural landscape which strikes the eye of the visitor to the Valle Sabbia. The upper part of the valley opens onto the Iseo Lake, an ideal destination for a holiday on the keynote of sport and fun, and a touristic centre of great interest. Lake Idro is situated near the pleasant village of the same name. Here the attractions ara varied and exciting: tennis courts, swimming-pools, surfing schools, stables and sport fields. On the shore of the lake there are many well-equipped camp-sites and tourist villages. The typical dishes are made up of simple and genuine flavours: mushrooms, cheeses like the famous Bagolino and the goats' milk cheeses. |
