The beaches of Rimini coast are long approximately 40 kilometres and, in some points, wide 200 metres. They are equipped with all possible comforts and are the safest beaches of Europe because the waters are not deep and the boats cannot navigate at a distance of 500 metres from the coast. But Rimini is renowned, most of all, for the lively night life and the presence of the most famous discos in Italy. Night time brings out the exuberant side of Rimini character, which only dies down when the first fishing boats return to port at first light. Rimini and Riccione are well-known also for the genuine food. With his unforgettable film Amarcord, the great film director Federico Fellini immortalised Rimini and the memory of that era. |
