Recoaro Terme is one of the Italy's great spa towns. Its waters have been famous for centuries. The springs offer various types of hydrotherapeutic treatment: waters with a low mineral content, irrigation, inhalation and mud baths. Recoaro's main alternative attraction is the opportunity to practice all the alpine sports, including hikes of varying degrees of difficulty, in the massif of the Piccole Dolomiti. The usual point of departure for alpine activities is Recoaro Mille, a plateau at height of 1.007 metres linked by a cable-car to Recoaro Terme. Moreover, people who are fond of Chinotto, a popular bitter-orange drink, are not aware that it was first produced in Recoaro. |
