Interrupting the vertical surge of the Apennine ridge, the Pollino massif marks the southern border of Basilicata. The highest peaks are Mount Pollino, serra Dolcedorme, and serra di Crispo. Among the inhabitants of this park there are: royal eagles, wolves, wild boars, and porcupines. |
