These high peaks are superb examples of natural architecture and offer incomparable examples of the rustic civilisation, such as the traditional constructions of the Gressoney Valley. This area is a paradise for winter sports and, in fact, there are 56 well-equipped ski tracks and 42 skilifts. The Val d'Ayas - with Champoluc, Ayas and Brusson - is the ideal place to practice cross-country ski. |
