Frosinone rises in the heart of the “ Ciociaria ” which is an area full of history and traditions whose inhabitants used to wear the Ciocie : a characteristic footwear. There are some colorful villages, like Anagni, which rises on a tufaceos spur and dominates the valley of the Sacco river, or Ferentino that causes wonder with its gigantic walls. Nearby the beautiful Veroli there is the imposing and solitary abbey of “Casamari”. In Arpino, Marco Tullio Cicerone was born (106 a.C.-43 a.C.) and here you find also the ancient acropolis of Civita Vecchia. |
