Forlė is not to be missed because of its historic centre with the Romanesque church of San Mercuriale, the church of Santa Maria dei Servi, the prestigious Museo Comunale, and the numerous historical palaces. But the real queen of this area is still hand-made pasta, and above all tagliatelle, tortellini, and lasagne. Other famous gastronomic specialties are: the piadina romagnola, salami, cheeses and ham. The thermal resort of Castrocaro is among the most ancient in Emilia Romagna and has exhisted since the last century. |
