An ideal point of departure for an interesting itinerary is the attractive seaside resort of Spotorno, situated within a large cove which directly faces the small island of Bergeggi. After having gone round the Noli headland and passed through the towns of Finale Ligure and Loano, one reaches the plain of Albenga, the most interesting town in the whole itinerary as regards monuments. Indeed, alongside its high towers it also boasts an attractive cathedral and notable series of old buildings. |
