The impenetrable Sila, enchanting Calabrian mountain, the famous Silva of the Romans that inspired so many legends and fairy stories, is a green plateau all meadows, water, forests, ever-changing scenery, tall Corsican pines, vast open spaces and delightful lakes. It is divided into the Sila Grande, Sila Greca, and Sila Piccola, with extensive cultivated areas but also woods, gentle slopes and peaks that rise to almost 2000 metres above sea level, such as Botte Donato and Lorica equipped with numerous winter sports lifts. A splendid environment with many possible excursions that can still offer uncontaminated natural zones and magnificent views. |
