As you go along the Tyrrhenian riviera, Calabria is immediately revealed in all its beauty. Crystal-clear water, solitary beaches, enchanting sceneries and the Isola di Dino seen in so many postcards advertising this region. A town of great attraction is Tortona which boasts various feudal palaces with towers and courtyards. Along the coast is Lido di Tortona, which in recent years has become an important seaside resort experiencing a considerable building and tourist boom. Proceeding along the coast, you find Diamante, another important seaside resort with large beaches and modern facilities, which is also called the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea. |
