This valley shows a green contryside of citrus groves, vineyards and olive trees producing excellent products. In the surroundings, Lavello is an old trade and agricultural centre with a very interesting castle and a suggestive medieval district. Today the castle is the town hall and includes a small civic Antiquarium. Genzano di Lucania was originally a medieval village and it still preserves important archaeological remains. |
