Bosa has kilometres of deserted coast with high ravines running to a sea of small bays among the dark volcanic rocks which make up the marine borders on the western Mediterranean and a worthy exemplar of Sardinia's famous natural beauty. In the surroundings there are several griffon vultures: rare rapacious living among the reefs. The area is also rich in archaeological sites, expecially at Macomer. |
