The Bed and Breakfast “Shack in the Forest” is located in Marentino, dipped in the green of hills, not far from Turin, offers comfortable and qualified hospitality to everyone who wishes to take the solution bed & breakfast. The B&B “Shack in the Forest” is also a good stop for excursions with horses and it exists the possibility to have information about the numerous distances of the zone. In the outskirts there are many distances for mountain bike and the zone is crossed by calm and secondary roads that represent a good occasions of fun and enjoyment for everyone. The “shack in the Forest” is an optimal staging point in order to visit the Hills of the Monferrato, carrying out gastronomic routes in the zone (tartufi, wines and sparkling wines, salumi, grissini, etc) and in the zone near Chieri, where you can visit the Abbey of Vezzolano and the Sanctuary of colle Don Bosco. The wide and relaxant garden that encircles the house allows to appreciate the landscape and to pass moments of relax in contact with the nature. It’s possible to sleep in a double room furnished like the rest of the house with furniture of the 1800 and comprehensive of personal bath with shower. The laundry is made in natural fibres and the common rooms of the shack (kitchen, library and veranda) are warmed up by exceptional ceramic stoves always lighted. It’s beautiful to drink hot tea or “zabaione” with homemade cakes around these ancient and warm friends.
