“Il Giardino dell'Artemisia” Bed & Breakfast stands at about 1000 metres above sea level, halfway between Aosta and Pila. Nestled among the pine, fir and birch woodland, the house is surrounded by a unique garden overlooking the Valley, allowing a stunning view of the valley and the Grand Combin.
Tastefully decorated, the suite has a double room with private WC, Jacuzzi, dressing room, living room and dining area with fireplace, TV, VCR, stereo set, patio with breakfast table.
A comfortable, cosy room with a French-style double bed, living room, TV and radio, private shower and WC.
The terraced garden surrounding the house is made up of three parts, each representing a room: the rose room, the perennial plant room, the leaf room.
Pila, a well-known winter sports resort, is only 10 minutes from the B&B. Pila boasts 70 Km of perfectly maintained pistes of varying gradients, an efficient system of programmed snow, modern ski installations, a cable car, a draglift, ski lifts and chair lifts. There is also a well-equipped Baby Park for children and a 100-metre half pipe for snowboarders.
The outdoor enthusiast and sport lover can explore this beautiful area on foot, by car, bike, or even on horseback, enjoy the freedom of the mountains, discover the best of Pila's dramatic scenery. Alternatively, one can join a course in horseriding, or free climbing under qualified leadership. The tourist seeking new experiences can climb the artificial wall, a 6 metre high vertical face with 5 routes.Pila was the first Alpine mountain resort to have two mountain bike tracks.
Our B&B is 10 Kms north of the village of Gressan . A regular bus service runs twice a day from Gressan to Pila and there is a bus stop just in front of the B&B. Visitors can also take the Aosta-Pila cable car and stop at Les Fleurs, which is only 5 minutes by car.
