The Hotel “Nuraghe Arvu” located in Cala Gonone (Nuoro), is a four-star hotel, with 50 rooms and 3 suites. Its name has ancient origins: in fact, Nuraghe Arvu was a Nuragic settlement, including forty huts facing the sea and built at the foot of the mountain surrounding the valley of Calagonone.
The building of the Hotel Nuraghe ArvuThe mountain range, once submerged, is made of white limestone; in the Sardinian language, “white” is translated with “arvu”, from which the name “Nuraghe Arvu” is taken.
The hotel has a beautiful view both on the sea and the mountain and it is only 500 metres far from the beach. The inside, shipshape, rustic and elegant at the same time is conceived to convey a sensation of familiarity and welcome.
The rooms, which have all been furnished in an elegant Sardinian style, have almost all the view on the sea and an independent entrance. They are all wide and comfortable with a private terrace, air-conditioning, minibar, satellite TV, safe, phone and Internet.
